It looks like Fedex/Kinko’s is moving the cheese (NYTimes link. Requires login). A great example of how money and centralization drives out personality and experimentation. I love how Chief Executive Kenneth May works the room — “How’s your Dad?” “How’s your rock band?” It sounds like the CEO Model 5000: Shake hands with employee. Ask question. Wait for answer. Move to next employee.
